The glourios and glamorous Hong Kong five-star luxury hotel choose GDL Italia furniture
Opened in 1928, and expanded in 1994, the hotel combines colonial and modern elements, and is notable for its large fleet of Rolls-Royces painted the distinctive "Peninsula green". To celebrate the Hotel's 85th anniversary it lounched a refurbishment programme in which Il Giardino di Legno tailor-made special furniture for the refurbishment.

The hotel is mentioned in Paul House's novel Harbour, and the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun was displayed in the 1988 NBC television miniseries Noble House, in Michael Palin: Around the World in 80 Days, and in the superhero film The Dark Knight.
